Steel V Aluminium
Aluminium Pram/Cycle shelter:

Garrick Engineering Shelters predominantly manufactures from substantial aluminium extrusion BS EN 755 (1-9) which is then powder coated to BS EN ISO 9002. This makes the structure hardwearing and durable. Maintenance costs are kept to a minimum, the shelter paintwork withstanding knocks from cycles, prams etc and so regular repainting is not required. For this reason, we offer a 10 year guarantee with each aluminium shelter so confident are we to the longevity and quality of each structure. Aluminium being lighter than steel, door hinges endure less stress, the shelter is also easier to relocate if the need arose. These shelters really are the acme of our industry, many of our competitors offer a much cheaper steel version and we understand that occasionally cost is the one and only factor and so for this reason; we also offer a cheaper steel version of shelter to suit all budgets.
Our client requested the above shelter to accommodate both prams and cycles for their Childrens centre. As we manufacture in our own factory, we were able to provide a bespoke design exactly satisfying the customer’s requirements.
Aluminium Cycle shelters:

The shelter above is also manufactured from aluminium extrusion.
Steel Cycle shelters

Our steel shelters are again manufactured from high grade steel, BS EN ISO 1461:1999 galvanised and BS EN ISO 9002powder coated to a colour of the customers choice. Whilst maybe not being as aesthetically pleasing as our aluminium range, these shelters serve their purpose very well and are a really cost effective way of fulfilling the need with a smaller budget. All prices quoted include delivery and installation by our own engineers. Our steel shelters come with a 3 year guarantee. |
